opportunity lies where you look for it.

A pessimist is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities and an optimist is one who makes opportunities of his difficulties.
-- Winston Churchill

We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations.
-- Charles Swindoll

It is up to each of us what we make of the events in our lives. It is our perception that determines whether something is positive or negative, everything is neutral until we choose otherwise. You can either focus on the flower or the thorns. Everything that happens to us presents a chance to head down one of two paths. We can choose to look for the positive potential and opportunities or we can dwell on the negative or discomfort it presents. The further you travel down one path, the further you get from the other, until all you know and all you can see of that event is the negative.
When you come across problems, make it a practice to look for the positive potential in it. Look for the opportunity, and how it can be used for good in your life. The opportunity is always there if we look for it, so what we want to do is cultivate a habit of looking for the positive. What you will find is that the more you practice this, the easier it becomes, until the natural choice in every circumstance is to take the path of opportunity.

I so love this blog. It inspires me a lot.
